In this episode of the Newhouse Insider Podcast, Eric is joined by Professor Eric Grode, Director of the Goldring Arts Journalism Program at Newhouse. Grode talks through his time as a reporter, the unique nature of the Arts Journalism major, and how students can apply for one of Newhouse’s biggest scholarships.

Professor Grode is a former head theatre critic for the New York Times for whom he still regularly writes. He has been published in a plethora of national papers and magazines and has authored two books, Hair: The Story of the Show That Defined a Generation and The Book of Broadway: The 150 Definitive Plays and Musicals.
