I’m Featured in The Public Diplomat’s “Fashion Diplomacy” Podcast

Last week, Professor Harriet Brown (Syracuse University) and I were asked to do a podcast on Fashion Diplomacy for The Public Diplomat. Thepublicdiplomat.com is run by Professor Golan (Editor in Chief) and Michael Ardaiolo (Managing Editor). It is an excellent source of Public Diplomacy conversations and news. On this particular podcast, we had a great conversation about how fashion and cultural identity do hand-in-hand.

It was a pleasure and priviledge to work with Professor Brown again. This semester I was her Instructional Associate (same as a TA) for COM 348: Beauty and Diversity in Fashion Media. The class took a provacative look at fashion's ideal of beauty and how fashion is a reflection of one's identity.
