Photography: Boot Camp 2013

PHOTOGRAPHY: The photography bootcamp is, in my opinion, a wonderful opportunity for potential students to "warm up" to the coming graduate school experience. It gives them a chance to address some concerns and worries they have about photography ahead of the fall term, and in turn, gives them a jump start on their career at Syracuse. The approach we took in class was to isolate certain aspects of photography and target them each week. We also had the opportunity to close out the semester with one multimedia project.The overall aspect that was most excited about was our approach to tap into each own student's vision and their own passion. We worked hard for each person to find their own voice, their own path, which in the end helps a student grow more rapidly. This boot camp helped provide that experience in an intimate way due to the number of students.
