The long weekend has arrived! I hope the first week was a success for everyone! I apologize for my neglect on the blog this week, time got away from me with orientation and the start of classes. With the arrival of the long weekend, I wanted to suggest some neat activties to do in and around Syracuse to celebrate!
Sam Tripoli at FunnyBone: Tripoli has appeared on The Late Late Show and Comic Unleashed. He is performing all weekend at the FunnyBone and tickets range from $10-$15. *Show is for 21 years of age and over*
Landmark Theatre: The theatre will show "Goldfinger" Saturday and Sunday night. Individual tickets prices are $5. This is a neat place to enjoy a movie!
Syracuse Chiefs Game (with fireworks!): The Chiefs take on the Pawtucket Red Sox at 7pm at the NBT Bank Stadium. Enjoy fireworks after the game!
Village of Manlius, Fourth Celebration: A pancake breakfast, parade, food vendors and music all day lead up to the fireworks show at night. Or drive ten minutes down the road to Cazenovia and watch fireworks on the lake!
The Forest for the Trees: Opening today from 5-8 pm at Gallery 54 in Skaneateles, this features handmade fibers and jewlery.
